Omochi, a popular Japanese dessert usually served at festive seasons and especially the New Year, is now available for your enjoyment. To the Japanese, Omochi is like the Chinese New Year dessert, " Nian Gao ", a traditional symbol of all things auspicious. Eating Omochi is believed to bring good luck, peace and make wishes come true.

Omochi is soft and smooth, refreshing to taste. Made from natural ingredients like glutinous rice, tapioca flour, vegetable oil, sugar, wheat molasses and green bean, omochi makes a wholesome breakfast or snack any time of day. It is not oily and does not leave a " heavy " feeling, you won't stop at one bite. Chilled omochi is perfect on a hot day.
